Maricar’s Blog, 1st WEEK OJT REPORT

My name is Maria Carminda Maricar D. Jasareno. My on the job training is in Dr. Fernando B. Duran Sr. Memorial Hospital.

1st DAY – I was assigned in the Administrative Office. The task given to me is to assist in the meeting ( getting the attendance, arranging the chairs and tables) , stamping, and folding the cartolinas.

2nd DAY – The head of the Administrative Office, which is Ma’am Lyn Dela Cruz told us that the HR will take in-charge where we will be assigned. Then the HR head told us that we will be assign in their office. Our task their is filling and arranging the files in alphabetical order.

3rd DAY – My task is filling again.

4th DAY – Doctor Roberto Chacon told us that the two of us will be assign in the Supply Department and one of us will be assign in Dr.Chacon’s office. Mhira was assign in Dr.Chacon’s office , while Airez and I were assign in Supply Department. But the head of the Supply Department ,which is Sir Pong is not accomodating us and Mhira didn’t understand the medical terms. The three of us decided to talk to Dr. Roberto Chacon to assign us to areas in-line to our course. So Mhira and I were assign in the claiming section.

Dr. Chacon told the two of us ( Mhira and I ) , to help him in a project which is Cost Containment and Revenue Enhancement ,to monitor if the salary of the Doctors was gaining or loosing.

5th DAY – I start working in the Claiming Section. My task their is to write down the total of the Statement of Account of every patients file and if their is Drugs/Medicine, It will be deducted in the total of the Statement of Account. Another task given to me is writing 100 names of patient and the admitting/discharge date. Scanning and printing and it will be given and received in the DCI Department.

Realization : ” Everything happens for a reason. Sometimes It hurts. Sometimes It’s hard. But in the end It’s all for the best. Never stop trusting God and the Divine plan. “
